JAKARTA — The flow of goods at PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) showed strengthening in early 2026, in line with the increasing national logistics activities, particularly the distribution of energy commodities and industrial raw materials.

The company recorded a total non-containerised throughput of 12.04 million tonnes in the first quarter of 2026. This volume encompasses general cargo services, dry bulk, liquid bulk, and bag cargo (goods in sack packaging).

PTP Nonpetikemas President Director Indra Hidayat Sani stated that this achievement reflects the company’s operational resilience amid the dynamics of national logistics flows.

“The performance achievement in early this year demonstrates the company’s operational resilience in facing the dynamics of logistics flows,” said Indra in Jakarta on Thursday (23/4/2025).

“The first quarter 2026 performance indicates that PTP Nonpetikemas operations continue to run optimally, supported by improvements in the liquid bulk segment,” he added.

In the same period, liquid bulk realisation reached 3.09 million tonnes, an increase of 16% compared to the previous year’s 2.67 million tonnes. This performance also exceeded the first quarter 2026 RKAP target of 2.52 million tonnes.

Meanwhile, dry bulk recorded a volume of 5.76 million tonnes, growing compared to the previous period and remaining aligned with the company’s projections. General cargo booked a realisation of 2.92 million tonnes, experiencing an annual adjustment of around 5%, while bag cargo was recorded at 656,000 tonnes, down slightly by 3.3%.

“We continue to strive to maintain balanced performance across all business lines through service improvements and facility optimisation,” Indra continued.

In the dry bulk segment, the Tanjung Priok, Panjang, and Pontianak branches became the main supporters of the company’s throughput.

The increase in the liquid bulk segment reflects the strengthening of national strategic commodity distribution activities, including energy and industrial raw materials. On the other hand, the stability of dry bulk performance as well as the maintained volumes of general cargo and bag cargo indicate that national logistics activities are still moving within a resilient corridor.

PTP Nonpetikemas Corporate Secretary Senior Manager Fiona Sari Utami said the company will continue to drive operational and business performance with a focus on customer satisfaction.

“We will also strive to take a role in the Community as appropriate Social and Environmental Responsibility according to community needs,” said Fiona.

She emphasised that PTP Nonpetikemas is strengthening performance through service reliability improvements, equipment optimisation, and the utilisation of integrated digital systems to support business process efficiency and transparency.
