Tanjung Priok Port Serves 31,059 Passengers During Eid Return Flow
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tanjung Priok Port served a total of 31,059 passengers during this year’s mudik and return flow, from 13 to 30 March 2026. “We recorded 31,059 passengers, consisting of 15,674 disembarking and 15,385 departing from Tanjung Priok Port,” said AKBP Aris Wibowo, the Chief of Tanjung Priok Port Police, during the closing of the Integrated Post for the Implementation of Eid Sea Transportation 2026 in Jakarta on Monday. He stated that overall, the implementation of the 2026 Eid Sea Transportation for Safe Mudik and Happy Families at Tanjung Priok Port ran safely, orderly, and smoothly. “We are grateful that all travellers’ journeys proceeded safely and smoothly,” he said. He expressed appreciation to all parties who contributed to maintaining security, safety, and the smooth flow of mudik and return traffic. “We appreciate the synergy that has been established during the implementation of this activity,” he said. According to him, the closure of this Integrated Post serves as a final evaluation as well as appreciation for the cross-agency cooperation in supporting the smooth sea transportation during the Eid period. “We hope that the synergy between agencies can continue to be maintained and enhanced in facing similar activities in the future,” he said.
