Tanjung Intan Port Wins Green and Smart Port Award 2026
PT Pelindo Multi Terminal’s Tanjung Intan branch has been awarded the Green and Smart Port Initiatives (GSPI) ASRI 2026 with a three-star predicate. The award was presented in Gresik, East Java, on Wednesday (15/7).
The accolade recognises the port’s efforts to develop more environmentally friendly, efficient, innovative, and sustainable operations through technology application, energy efficiency, environmental management, and service quality improvement.
Tanjung Intan Branch Manager Miftah Fajrisal stated that the award is the result of the entire team’s hard work in driving the implementation of a modern and environmentally conscious port. “This GSPI ASRI 2026 three-star predicate is an appreciation of the commitment and collaboration of all Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Tanjung Intan personnel in realising port operations that are more environmentally friendly, efficient, and innovation-oriented. This achievement motivates us to continue improving performance and providing the best service to all service users,” he said.
The GSPI ASRI 2026 programme was organised by the Coordinating Ministry for Food together with the IDSurvey Group, which comprises PT SUCOFINDO, PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI), and PT Surveyor Indonesia. The programme integrates the ASRI principles (Aman, Sehat, Resik, and Indah – Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful) as part of a sustainable and competitive port management standard.
As a non-container terminal operator, Pelindo Multi Terminal continues to strengthen its operational transformation through the implementation of sustainability principles, technology utilisation, responsible environmental management, and service quality enhancement.
