The corruption case involving investments from BRI Ventura Investama (BRI Ventures) and PT Metra Digital Investama (MDI Ventures) into the startup TaniHub is approaching its final stage. As reported on Tuesday (2/6/2026), the suspects in this matter were named by the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Office in September 2025. The case has progressed through the legal system, with the suspects appearing for trial at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court in February 2026.

Prosecutors stated that the defendants engaged in corruption regarding the management of investment funds from MDI Ventures and BRI Ventures into the agricultural startup TaniHub and its affiliates between 2019 and 2023.

The state loss figure is based on an audit by the BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency). Total state losses in this case were estimated at USD 25 million, or approximately Rp 364 billion, at the time the indictment was read.
