Tangsel Police Narcotics Chief Arrested by Bareskrim
The Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim Polri) has arrested the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Pardiman, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, stated in Jakarta on Monday (27/7/2026) that AKP Pardiman is suspected of being involved in illicit drug distribution, drug abuse, and abuse of authority in narcotics law enforcement. AKP Pardiman was arrested along with six of his members and a member of the Aceh Regional Police. “A full release will be provided later,” Eko said regarding the chronology and progress of the case. Throughout 2026, the Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri has taken action against police personnel involved in drug cases. In February 2026, investigators named the former Bima Police Chief, Didik Putra Kuncoro, as a suspect for alleged drug possession; his case is currently at trial. Additionally, in May 2026, the former Head of the Narcotics Unit of the West Kutai Police, Deky Jonathan Sasiang, was named a suspect in a drug trafficking network linked to a dealer named Ishak.
