Tangsel Civil Servants Return to Work on 25 March, but Implement Work from Anywhere

South Tangerang, Kompas.com - Civil servants (ASN) in the South Tangerang City Government (Tangsel) will begin returning to work on Wednesday (25/3/2026), after the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.

The Mayor of Tangsel, Benyamin Davnie, said that in the initial days of returning to work, ASN will not fully return to the office as they will still implement work from anywhere (WFA).

“25 March (return to work), but they are still working from anywhere,” Benyamin stated in his remarks on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, ASN in the South Tangerang City Government will only be required to work from the office starting Monday (30/3/2026).

Even while working under WFA, the ASN are reminded that they must still carry out their duties and report their performance to their respective superiors.

“They must still prepare reports; their main duties and functions are clear. They must still make reports to their respective leaders,” he said.
