The Tangerang Selatan City Government (Tangsel), through the Communication and Informatics Department (Diskominfo), has officially launched an innovative digital public service, Tangsel One, equipped with the virtual assistant Helita (Helo Kita Tangsel). This launch is part of the government’s commitment to delivering services that are faster, easier, integrated, and adaptive to the needs of the community.

Tangerang Selatan Mayor Benyamin Davnie stressed that digital transformation is no longer an option but an urgent necessity to address the dynamics and growing expectations of the community.

“Today is not just about launching an application, but about affirming the commitment that public services must continue to evolve with the times,” he stated on Thursday (30/04/2026).

He explained that the introduction of Tangsel One provides a solution to the community’s need for simpler and more efficient services. Through a single platform, residents can access various government services, from information and complaints to administrative services, without switching channels.

“The government can no longer suffice with a physical presence; it must also be present digitally, whenever and wherever the community needs it,” he asserted.

Furthermore, Benyamin emphasised that integrating services into one application will accelerate bureaucratic processes and minimise the obstacles that the community has often faced.

“With an integrated system, we aim to cut through convoluted processes, speed up responses, and ensure that every service is accessible in a transparent and accountable manner,” he added.

In addition, the presence of Helita as a digital assistant represents an innovation that strengthens a more humane and communicative service approach.

“Helita is here to help the community find information, answer questions, and guide them to the services they need with quick responses 24 hours a day, every day. This is a form of service that is not only fast but also friendly and solution-oriented,” he said.

On that occasion, he also invited all regional apparatus to adapt and actively participate in the successful implementation of this digital service, so that its benefits can be widely felt by the community.

“This digital transformation will not succeed without collaboration. All regional work units must be ready to innovate, enhance their capacity, and ensure that the services provided through this platform are truly high quality,” he explained.

Benyamin hopes that the Tangsel One and Helita innovations can serve as the initial step towards more modern, transparent, responsive governance that is oriented towards the needs of the community.

“We want to ensure that every Tangsel resident gets ease in accessing services. This is part of our effort to build a smart, inclusive, and technology-based city,” he concluded.
