Tangible Ramadan Action: DRW Skincare Distributes 50,000 Sembako Packages to Various Regions
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SLEMAN — Some 50,000 sembako packages are being prepared by DRW Skincare to be distributed to those in need across Indonesia during the holy month of Ramadan 2026. This annual sharing programme returns in conjunction with the second Kampung Ramadhan Wedomartani, held in Kapanewon Ngemplak, Sleman, on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
Founder DRW Skincare Wahyu Triasmara confirmed that 50,000 free sembako packages are ready to be distributed to the public with the involvement of influencer collaborations. The concept is that the company provides the sembako packages, while influencers help distribute and educate via their creative content.
“Usually we carry out sharing actions with our internal team; this year we are different. We are engaging influencers to feel the beauty of sharing together. The groceries come from us, they will also share via their content,” he said at the opening of Pasar Ramadhan Wedomartani Sleman, Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
For the Yogyakarta region, around 5,000 sembako packages will be distributed evenly to a number of pesantren and orphanages.
Dr Wahyu hopes to broaden the impact of the sharing movement through collaboration with influencers and the wider community. He also encouraged other entrepreneurs to move together to conduct social actions during Ramadan.
“Maybe the programme can run every year. A good company does not just talk about turnover, but also has a real impact on society,” he said.
Furthermore, Dr Wahyu explained, Kampung Ramadhan Wedomartani has entered its second year of operation. The event provides a platform for collaboration between the private sector and the kalurahan government, while involving around 200 UMKM actors in the area. Besides the sembako distribution, DRW Skincare also hosts various social and educational activities. One of them is free facial skin health checks using medical analysis technology.
“This year we are introducing some differences, one of them is a free facial examination booth, so the public can also benefit from the event,” he said.
“We are also organising various competitions for children, distributing tens of thousands of free takjil packages and iced tea, and a free photo booth,” he added.
He stressed that business growth must run in tandem with social impact.
“We believe that a good company is not one that only talks about turnover growth, but a company that provides real impact and contribution to society. Therefore, this is part of how we collaborate with Kelurahan Wedomartani to be present among the community,” said Dr Wahyu.
The event is an initiative of PT DRW Corpora Indonesia through the DRW Skincare brand, in cooperation with the Wedomartani Kalurahan Government. In the same event, Panewu Ngemplak Tri Akhmeriyadi praised the sustainability of the activity, which has entered its second year.
“We hope this will benefit the people of Wedomartani. Not only during Ramadan, we hope to continue working together. In future we can be even more synergised, starting from Wedomartani, and it could even become a mentoring programme from DRW Skincare,” he said.
