Tangerang Secures Four TOP BUMD Awards, Mayor: Do Not Become Complacent
The Tangerang City Government has received awards at the TOP BUMD Awards 2026. Through Perumda Tirta Benteng, Tangerang City secured four awards at once, including the highest Bintang 5 accolade.
Tangerang Mayor H. Sachrudin expressed gratitude for the achievement. However, he stated that this award is not the end, but rather the beginning to continuously improve performance and service quality to the public.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the result of collective hard work. However, I emphasise that we must not become complacent quickly. This award should serve as motivation to continuously enhance service quality so that it is increasingly optimally felt by the public,” Sachrudin said in a written statement on Monday (13/4/2026).
He conveyed this at the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 Peak Event in the Ballroom of Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Monday (13/4).
Sachrudin explained that the Bintang 5 rating achieved by Perumda Tirta Benteng reflects good governance practices. Nevertheless, future challenges require BUMDs to continue innovating and adapting to public needs.
“Services must be continuously improved, coverage expanded, and innovation strengthened. The goal is clear: so that the public receives better, faster, and higher-quality services,” he asserted.
On that occasion, Sachrudin was also awarded the TOP Pembina BUMD 2026. This award is a form of appreciation for his efforts in nurturing BUMDs to provide tangible contributions to regional development.
“This is a responsibility that must be carried out earnestly. I dedicate this award to the entire apparatus that continues to work and innovate for the public’s interests,” he added.

TOP BUMD Awards 2026 Bintang 5, achieved by Perumda Tirta Benteng Tangerang City,
TOP Dewan Pengawas BUMD 2026, achieved by Yeti Rohaeti, and
TOP CEO BUMD 2026, achieved by Doddy Effendy, Director of Perumda Tirta Benteng.
