Tangerang Regency Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid carried out the Tarawih Keliling (Tarling) programme at Jami Al-Mubarok Mosque, Kadu Village, Curug District, on Monday, 2 March 2026. The activity forms part of the Tangerang Regency Government’s efforts to strengthen ties with ulama and the community during Ramadan 1447 Hijri.

Maesyal said Tarling is an annual programme conducted in 29 districts and divided into seven teams so that all areas are reached.

‘Our presence is not only to lead the Tarawih prayers in congregation, but also to strengthen silaturahmi between ulama, umaro, and the people,’ he said.

He noted that silaturahmi is an instruction exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and is a momentum to strengthen togetherness between the regional government, religious figures, and residents.

During the occasion, he also responded to residents’ aspirations regarding the need for parking space to support religious activities at Masjid Jami Al-Mubarok. The local government, he said, will discuss it with the district, village authorities, the mosque’s welfare board (DKM), and the DPRD to seek a solution.

‘We will consult together to find the best solution for the interests of the people,’ Maesyal said.
