Tangerang probes massage parlor

TANGERANG (JP): The Tangerang administration will summon the
owner of Classic massage parlor, located on the fourth floor of
the Model building on Jl. Merdeka, because it is strongly
believed to have abused the operating permit issued for such a
massage parlor.

Tangerang city councilor Cecep Surapati told newsmen recently
that the city council members will summon the management of the
massage parlor to ask them about the nature of their business as
well as the citizenship of the owner.

The owner of the parlor is believed to be a Korean.

Cecep said the parlor has allegedly violated the license which
was issued by the township administration by hiring lady masseurs
while the original license says it is for traditional massage
with blind people as its masseurs.

According to people who have frequented the place, there are
strong indications that the parlor has "doubled" as a brothel.

Councilor Eddy Sulaeman said that he will file a strong
protest with the Tangerang administration to immediately revoke
the operation permit of the so-called massage parlor if the
allegations are proven to be true. (13/mas)
