Tangerang Mayor Welcomes Ministry Team for Investment Service Performance Review
Tangerang Mayor H. Sachrudin received a visit from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM assessment team for a field verification of the One-Stop Integrated Services (PTSP) and Acceleration of Ease of Doing Business (PPB) performance for 2026 at the Mayor’s meeting room on Tuesday (11/8/2026). This activity is a follow-up to the previous assessment presentation stage and a verification process for the implementation of PTSP and PPB in Tangerang City.
During the occasion, Sachrudin expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM for the trust placed in Tangerang City, which has been nominated among the top six local governments with very good performance in the national PTSP and PPB assessment. “Being included in the top six nominations is a motivation for us to continue providing the best service to the community and business actors. This is not just an achievement, but also an encouragement to keep improving,” said Sachrudin.
He stated that ease of licensing is a crucial part of creating a conducive business and investment climate. Therefore, the Tangerang City Government continues to introduce various innovations, such as the 10-Hour Building Approval (PBG), Sambut NIB, Lintasan, and Point, to deliver fast, easy, and transparent services with legal certainty. “We continuously strive to create innovations that reach all levels of business. We present all of this to provide convenience and certainty for the community and business actors,” he explained.
Furthermore, Sachrudin assessed that face-to-face services remain important for presenting a humanistic approach. The Tangerang City Government continues to strengthen the Public Service Mall (MPP) as an integrated service centre that is comfortable, friendly, and solution-oriented. “The humanistic aspect in face-to-face services remains crucial. Therefore, we continue to strengthen the facilities and services at the MPP so that the community and business actors receive comfortable and solution-oriented services,” he said.
Sachrudin also hopes that this field verification can provide strategic input and recommendations for the Tangerang City Government to continue improving service quality. “For us, licensing is no longer just about documents, but about building trust. We are not only ready to be assessed by numbers, but also ready to prove that Tangerang City continues to provide ease and certainty in doing business,” he asserted.
The readiness of the Tangerang City Government in implementing PTSP and PPB also received appreciation from the assessment team. BKPM assessor Wishnu W. Soedibyo assessed that the facilities and services prepared, especially the Tangerang City MPP, were very good. Similar appreciation was also conveyed by assessor from the Cabinet Secretariat, Danil Arif Iskandar, who hopes that the entire field verification process can yield the best results for Tangerang City. “This is my first time in Tangerang City. This city is very close to the capital and has an extraordinary MPP,” said Wishnu. “Thank you for the excellent welcome and reception. Hopefully, Tangerang City can achieve satisfactory assessment results,” added Danil.
