Tangerang Mayor H. Sachrudin received a team of assessors from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM to showcase the city’s progress in streamlining business permits and investment. The visit, held at the Mayor’s meeting room on Tuesday (11/8/2026), served as a verification stage for the 2026 Performance Assessment of the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) and the Acceleration of Business Implementation (PPB).

Sachrudin expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in Tangerang, which has been shortlisted among the top six nominations for Very Good Performing Regional Government in the national PTSP and PPB assessment. “Being in the top six nominations motivates us to continue providing the best service to the public and business actors. This is not just an achievement, but also an impetus to keep improving,” he stated.

He noted that licensing efficiency is a crucial part of creating a more conducive business and investment climate. To this end, the Tangerang City Government has introduced various innovations, including the 10-Hour Building Approval (PBG), ‘Sambut NIB’ (business registration number assistance), Sulton, Lintasan, and Point, aimed at delivering fast, easy, and transparent services with legal certainty. “We continue to strive to produce innovations that reach various business levels. All of this is presented to provide ease and certainty for the public and business actors,” he explained.

Sachrudin also stressed that face-to-face services remain important for maintaining a humanistic approach. The city government is therefore strengthening the Tangerang City Public Service Mall (MPP) as a comfortable, friendly, and solution-oriented service integration centre. “The humanistic aspect of face-to-face service remains important. That is why we continue to strengthen the facilities and services at the MPP so that the public and business actors receive comfortable and solution-oriented service,” he said.

He expressed hope that the verification visit would provide strategic input and recommendations for the city government to further improve service quality. “For us, licensing is no longer just a matter of documents, but about building trust. We are not only ready to be assessed by numbers, but also ready to prove that Tangerang City continues to provide ease and certainty in doing business,” he asserted.

The assessment team commended the city’s readiness. BKPM Assessor Wishnu W. Soedibyo noted that the facilities and services, particularly the MPP, were excellent. Similar appreciation was conveyed by Assessor Danil Arif Iskandar from the Cabinet Secretariat, who hoped the verification process would yield the best results for Tangerang. “This is my first time in Tangerang. The city is very close to the capital and has an extraordinary MPP,” Wishnu said. Danil added, “Thank you for the very warm welcome and reception. I hope Tangerang City achieves satisfactory assessment results.”
