Tangerang gets new secretary

TANGERANG: After being left vacant since November, the
position of Tangerang municipality secretary was filled by Harry
Mulya Zain, currently the head of the education agency.

Harry won the vote at the Tangerang Council on Tuesday
evening.

The former secretary was the current Mayor Wahidin Halim.

Harry outpolled Affandi Permana, the assistant for development
control and Abdul Rochim, the head of the finance and property
agency.

"I will do my best to help Tangerang municipality develop,"
Harry promised. -- JP
