Tangerang City's Labour Department: 'Online Job Fair' provides 693 vacancies

Tangerang (ANTARA) — The Tangerang City Department of Manpower (Disnaker) said that the Online Job Fair edition for May provides 693 vacancies from 10 companies. Ujang Hendra Gunawan, head of Tangerang City’s Disnaker, said in Tangerang on Wednesday that residents can participate by downloading the Tangerang LIVE application and submitting applications directly through the Cakap Kerja feature. ‘Please submit your applications via the channels available in the Tangerang LIVE app. We are open for the Online Job Fair until 30 May 2026,’ he said. He explained that the programme is part of the city government’s efforts to broaden access to vacancy information and to bring jobseekers and companies together more easily, quickly, and efficiently. Through this Online Job Fair, the public is expected to utilise the available opportunities in line with their competencies and interests. ‘The public can monitor full information related to vacancies and registration procedures through the official Tangerang City Labour Department channel,’ he said. The vacancies include telemarketing, store crew, helper, sales representative, programmer, quality control staff, account officer, operator obras, and IT programmer. For SMA-equivalent graduates, 220 openings are available, with vacancies also for Diploma 3 (D3) and S1 graduates in various professional and technical fields. Previously, Tangerang Mayor Sachrudin said there would be 12 job fairs in 2025 providing 20,000 vacancies, and 8,240 jobseekers had found work. He stated that the ‘Gampang Kerja’ programme is part of the city government’s efforts to improve welfare and reduce unemployment by making vacancy information easier to access.
