The commitment of the Tangerang City Government to delivering fast, easy, and high-quality public services has once again yielded results. Tangerang City has successfully made it into the top six nominees for Regional Governments with Very Good Performance in the 2026 Assessment of the Implementation of One-Stop Integrated Services (PTSP) and Acceleration of Ease of Doing Business (PPB), organised by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.

As part of the assessment stage, Deputy Mayor of Tangerang, H. Maryono Hasan, presented various innovations and achievements of Tangerang City before the Assessment Team during the Regional Government Nominee Presentation at the Nusantara Building, Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, Jakarta, on Thursday (06/08/2026).

Maryono explained that to accelerate licensing services, the Tangerang City Government has introduced a 10-Hour Building Approval (PBG) service for residential houses, as well as the Sambut NIB programme to help MSME players obtain their Business Identification Number. In addition, information on investment opportunities can also be accessed by the public through the Tangerang City Investment Potential and Opportunities Map.

“These various innovations are a form of our commitment to delivering licensing services that are increasingly fast, easy, transparent, and provide certainty for the public and business actors,” said Maryono.

Maryono added that these efforts have also contributed to an increase in investment realisation in Tangerang City. The investment value for the 2024–2025 period was recorded to have increased by 55.20 percent.

“Throughout 2025, the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency has also verified 5,935 business permits. This demonstrates our commitment to providing ease and certainty of service for business actors,” he said.

In addition to digital services, the Tangerang City Government also continues to strengthen face-to-face services through the Tangerang City Public Service Mall by providing various facilities that offer ease, comfort, and certainty of service to the public.

“Hopefully, the various innovations we continue to present can further improve the quality of public services while strengthening a conducive investment climate in Tangerang City,” concluded Maryono.
