A total of 502 personnel from combined forces participated in the Public Order and Security Alert Assembly with the theme “Protect Tangerang City for Indonesia”. During the assembly, a joint declaration was held between police and residents to commit to maintaining conducive conditions.

The assembly was led directly by Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Kombes Raden Muhammad Jauhari and attended by senior officials from the Police Precinct, precinct chiefs throughout the region, police personnel, and various community potential elements (potmas) at the Precision Alert Field of Metro Tangerang City Police Precinct on Thursday (26 February).

“Thank you to all community potential elements who have attended. This is a tangible manifestation of our shared commitment to maintain security and prevent potential public order disturbances in Tangerang City,” said Kombes Jauhari on Saturday (28 February 2026).

Various community potential elements attended the assembly including Pemuda Pancasila, Laskar Merah Putih, Forkabi, FBR, GRIB, community security awareness groups (Pokdar Kamtibmas), Senkom, online motorcycle taxi communities, and neighbourhood security volunteers (Linmas). Their presence symbolised a shared commitment to maintaining security and order in Tangerang City.

During the activity, a declaration titled “Protect Tangerang City for Indonesia” was issued. The declaration affirmed a shared stance to reject all forms of anarchist actions, destruction, and behaviour that could disturb public order.

Additionally, community potential elements stated their readiness to support firm police action to create a safe and conducive situation.

Jauhari emphasised that current potential security threats are not only in the form of physical actions, but can also emerge through hate speech and provocation on social media.

“Security threats can arise from hate speech on social media. Because of this, we must jointly protect Tangerang City. Reject hate speech, activate environmental vigilance, and immediately report if there are potential disturbances,” he stressed.

The Police Chief also invited all community elements to continually maintain cohesion and solidarity to create a sense of security and comfort.

“Let us prove that we can protect residents, protect the environment, protect rules, and keep our trust. Until now, the conduciveness of the region has been maintained, and that is thanks to our collective unity,” he added.

As a form of care and support for the active role of community potential elements, the Police Chief also symbolically handed over food assistance packages to representatives of assembly participants, which was subsequently distributed to all community potential elements present.

Through this activity, Metro Tangerang City Police Precinct reaffirmed its commitment to continue building synergy with all community elements in maintaining security stability for a safe and peaceful Indonesia.
