Visitors are urged to use official parking areas provided and not pay parking fees to unauthorized personnel. Tangerang (ANTARA) - The Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) in Banten has formed an oversight team to ensure the Car Free Night (CFN) event at Taman Elektrik runs from Friday to Sunday, 4pm to 10pm WIB, without any illegal parking fees. “We aim to ensure Taman Elektrik is a well-ordered, comfortable, and safe public space for the public. This arrangement also focuses on curbing illegal parking, extortion, and organising street vendors (PKL) to be more orderly,” said Mulyani, the City Government’s Assistant for Government Affairs, in a statement in Tangerang on Thursday. He stated that the Environment and Forestry Agency (DLH) is responsible for cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetics of the area. Meanwhile, the Municipal Police (Satpol PP) and Transportation Agency (Dishub) handle security, illegal parking enforcement, traffic management, and area monitoring during the event. Additionally, the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Agency (Disperindagkop UKM) is providing guidance and organising street vendors and SMEs to remain orderly and not obstruct public facilities. “We urge visitors to use the official parking areas provided and not pay parking fees to unauthorized personnel,” Mulyani said. CFN implementation also supports the Blue Sky Programme by reducing vehicle activity in specific areas, while providing a healthy and family-friendly public space. “We invite active public participation in adhering to regulations for smooth and safe operations,” he added.
