Tangerang beach disappointing

Tangerang beach disappointing

From Neraca

On Dec. 31, 1995 I took my family to a beach in Tangerang,
West Java for a holiday. This beach is not so well-known as other
beaches, but it offers something which is refreshing. A long way
before we reached the location, we encountered numerous children
offering tickets to enter the beach. The nearer we came the more
people confronted us wishing to sell entrance tickets. We tried
to ignore them.

When we reached the gate we did not see the staff who was
supposed to sell tickets to the visitors. Maybe they might
mingled with the crowd offering tickets to the new arrivals.

I came to the beach on a motor-bike but was forced to buy a
ticket intended for a car.

Before returning home we dropped into a restaurant where I was
told that a dangdut band would play that evening to welcome the
New Year. Every visitor, even in the morning, was charged Rp 2000
for the event.

I hope the local authorities take the necessary measures to
put an end to these sorts of irregularities.
