Tanah Datar Records IDR 62.17 Billion Budget Surplus for 2025
The Tanah Datar Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) held a plenary session on Thursday (11/6) to hear the regent’s explanatory note on the draft bylaw concerning the accountability report for the 2025 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The session, chaired by DPRD Speaker Anton Yondra alongside Deputy Speakers Nurhamdi Zahari and Kamrita, was attended by Regent Eka Putra, Deputy Regent Ahmad Fadly, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the regional secretary, expert staff, heads of regional apparatus organisations (OPD), and other invitees.
Regent Eka Putra stated that the submission of the draft bylaw on APBD accountability is a mandatory obligation of the regional head to the DPRD. The draft bylaw is accompanied by financial reports audited by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) and a summary of performance and financial reports of regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD), to be submitted no later than six months after the end of the fiscal year for discussion and approval into a regional regulation.
In his seven-page explanatory note, the Regent detailed the APBD realisation for the 2025 fiscal year. Regional revenue was targeted at IDR 1,295,050,946,063 and realised at IDR 1,312,799,267,502, achieving 101.37% of the target. Meanwhile, regional expenditure was budgeted at IDR 1,333,857,237,785 with a realisation of IDR 1,250,621,580,777, or 94.76% of the budget.
The Regent further explained that the APBD for the 2025 fiscal year recorded a surplus of IDR 62,177,686,725.24. When accumulated with net financing of IDR 43,806,291,722.06, the remaining budget financing surplus (SiLPA) for 2025 amounted to IDR 105,983,978,447.30. This surplus consists of remaining funds from the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH), and Special Allocation Fund (DAK) with specified allocations, as well as DAU funds without specified use.
The Regent expressed hope that the draft bylaw would provide adequate information on all policies implemented by the regional government, particularly in managing finances during the 2025 fiscal year. He also extended gratitude for the support and cooperation of all parties, which enabled Tanah Datar Regency to achieve numerous prestigious awards at both provincial and national levels, notably receiving an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on its 2025 financial report from the BPK Representative Office of West Sumatra for the 15th time, and the 14th consecutive year.
Following the session, DPRD Speaker Anton Yondra announced that the meeting would continue the next day to hear the general views of DPRD factions on the regent’s explanatory note regarding the draft bylaw on the accountability of the 2025 APBD implementation.
