Taman Mini raises entrance fee

JAKARTA: The management of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah has
raised the entrance fee from Rp 7,000 (some 80 US cents) to Rp
8,000 per person starting Jan. 1.

"We had to raise the price to adjust to the earlier fuel price
hike," Taman Mini spokesman Markoes Legimin was quoted as saying
by Antara recently.

"However, the increase will barely cover our expenses," he
said.

Markoes said that entrance fees to enter several museums and
amusement spots had also been increased by 20 percent.

Taman Mini management also raised the parking fee for cars and
motorcycles. -- JP
