Taman Mini holds bazaar

JAKARTA: Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is holding a bazaar and exhibition of local products during Ramadhan.

The event is being held from Oct. 9 to Nov. 3, the first day of the Idul Fitri holidays.

Various religious books, clothing and food are on sale in the bazaar, which is open every day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A giant Koran and other Islamic art is also a highlight of the exhibition, Taman Mini management said in a statement made available to The Jakarta Post on Monday.

From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the park is offering a special price for people who want to spend their leisure time there or wait to break the fast at the park.

For only Rp 3,000 as an entrance fee, the public can enjoy the amusement park, visit the aquarium of ornamental fish, enjoy traditional dances and a three-dimensional movie at Keong Emas Imax Theater. -- JP
