Talks on telecom services

JAKARTA (JP): A meeting to be held later today will discuss
preparations for the introduction of two new telecommunications
services in Indonesia: the Integrated Services Digital Network
(ISDN) and the Intelligent Network (IN).

Eva Delsi, an executive of PT Elnusa Yellow Pages, an
information technology firm which organizes the meeting, told The
Jakarta Post yesterday that participants in today's meeting will
be encouraged to make suggestions regarding the development of
the two services. The meeting will be held at the offices of PT
Indosat.

The ISDN and IN services are being prepared by the state-owned
domestic telecommunications provider PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia
(Telkom).

The services will be launched officially in April, Eva
