Talent Mapping for 'Sekolah Rakyat' Students Continues, Gus Ipul: Every Student is Valuable
A video was screened during an audience between ESQ Corp Founder Ary Ginanjar, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, and Deputy Minister of Social Affairs Agus Jabo Priyono at the Ministry of Social Affairs office on Monday, 13 July 2026. The video featured Putri, a student from a Sekolah Rakyat in Pontianak who had undergone Talent DNA mapping. Putri said the mapping results helped her better understand her potential. ‘I know that I have competitive and troubleshooter strengths. From there, I became more confident, more enthusiastic, and braver,’ Putri said in the video.
ESQ Corp Founder Ary Ginanjar stated that the experience demonstrates the importance of talent mapping for every child. ‘I believe other Indonesian children can also find their future,’ he said. Over the past year, ESQ has followed the development of Sekolah Rakyat through Talent DNA mapping for students, teachers, and headmasters. Ary Ginanjar supports the continued development of student talent to strengthen the talent ecosystem as part of the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision.
Talent mapping for Sekolah Rakyat students is continuing into the new 2026/2027 academic year. New students will undergo Talent DNA tests to identify their aptitudes and interests. As a concrete step, Ary Ginanjar announced that ESQ will provide 100,000 free Talent DNA quotas for Sekolah Rakyat students. This is expected to help students recognise their potential and receive guidance tailored to their individual talents and character.
Meanwhile, ESQ Senior Consultant Diana presented the mapping results for Sekolah Rakyat students. The results showed that students possess strengths in sincerity, perfectionism, equality, forgiveness, and harmony. Aspects that still need strengthening include intuitive ability, self-confidence, assertiveness, directing ability, and explaining ability. In addition to talent mapping, ESQ also introduced the concept of AI Coaching Talenta Sekolah Rakyat, designed as a personal and continuous self-development companion for students. ‘This is the advantage of Sekolah Rakyat. In Sekolah Rakyat, every person is valuable according to their respective talents,’ she said.
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, known as Gus Ipul, agreed with the concept and proposed that the message become the identity of Sekolah Rakyat. ‘That is good, because in Sekolah Rakyat, every student is valuable.’ Sekolah Rakyat will commence the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) at 19 locations with a total of 5,130 new students on 14 July 2026, with numbers increasing gradually. ‘In total, this year we will accept around 30,000. Currently, it is already 28,000. It will keep rising. So, the target is 45,000 this year. Next year, more than 100,000 will be accepted,’ said Gus Ipul.
