Taking Calculated Risks: UNM Student Leverages Digital Business Campus to Drive Entrepreneurial Success

JAKARTA – The decision to pursue high-risk, high-return business ventures at a young age demonstrates both courage and mature thinking, as exemplified by Muhamad Naufal Amirul Ma’arif, a Data Science student at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), known as Indonesia’s Digital Business Campus.

From the outset, Naufal recognised that youth represents the optimal period for taking measured risks. “My motivation extends beyond profit,” he stated. “I want to build something tangible, impactful, and sustainable. Discipline, integrity, and consistency are the values I uphold in developing ZAMA AUTO SPORT.”

Amid his business commitments, Naufal maintains academics as a priority. He deliberately chose UNM because of its capacity to accommodate active and productive students. “I regard study time as critically important. Therefore, whenever my academic schedule is running, I intentionally clear my business agenda. UNM provides me space to focus on learning whilst maintaining my entrepreneurial momentum,” he explained.

Tati Mardiana, Head of the Data Science Programme at UNM, views this approach as reflecting student maturity. “At Universitas Nusa Mandiri, we encourage students to achieve comprehensively across all dimensions. What Naufal has accomplished demonstrates that our Digital Business Campus environment is capable of producing students who maintain balance across academics, character development, and innovation,” she said.
