Takenaka, C-Cure sign deal
JAKARTA (JP): Japanese property-contractor Takenaka Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with U.S. firm C-Cure Corporation yesterday for the supply of building materials for a residential tower building project.
The agreement, which was signed by Takenaka's general manager, Tokuo Sasaki, and C-Cure's international vice president of sales and marketing, Griffith J. Williams, means C-Cure will provide ceramic products for the Four Seasons Regent Residences condominiums which are under construction.
Takenaka is Four Seasons-Regent Residences' major contractor. The condominiums are being built on a 2.4-hectare site near the Regent Jakarta hotel.
The four-tower condominiums will cost US$190 million to build. Two towers are expected to complete next year and two in 1999.
The project would be the first for the Los Angeles-based C- Cure, Williams said.
C-Cure has chosen PT Guna Lemindo as its Indonesian affiliate. (icn)
