Take Note: Ragunan Zoo Opening Hours During Ramadan 2026
A number of recreational venues in Jakarta will continue operating during Ramadan, including Ragunan Zoo. The zoo will remain open throughout Ramadan 2026.
According to a post on the @ragunanzoo Instagram account, the following is Ragunan’s operational schedule during Ramadan 2026:
- Tuesday to Sunday
- 07:00–15:00 WIB
Ragunan Admission Prices
Tickets can be purchased online through ragunanzoo.jakarta.go.id or offline via ticket machines or JakCard payment. The following is the list of admission and attraction ticket prices:
- Visitors
- Adults: Rp 4,000
- Children: Rp 3,000
- Vehicles
- Motorcycle: Rp 3,000
- Car: Rp 6,000
- Bicycle: Rp 1,000
- Medium bus: Rp 12,500
- Large bus: Rp 15,000
- Attraction Admission Schmutzer Primate Centre
- Weekdays — Adults/Children: Rp 6,000
- Weekends — Adults/Children: Rp 7,500
Children’s Animal Park - Adults: Rp 2,500 - Children: Rp 2,500
JakCard Prices
Visitors to Ragunan can use a JakCard for entry access. The terms are as follows:
- Available for purchase and top-up at all Ragunan Zoo ticket counters
- JakCards are non-refundable; remaining balance remains valid
- One card can be used by more than one person
- Minimum top-up of Rp 10,000 in multiples of Rp 10,000
Pricing: - Rp 45,000 (includes Rp 20,000 balance) - Rp 75,000 (includes Rp 50,000 balance)
Night at Ragunan Zoo Closed During Ramadan
The Night at Ragunan Zoo programme has been temporarily closed for the duration of Ramadan. The service was suspended from 21 February 2026.
“The Night at Ragunan Zoo visiting service has been temporarily closed effective 21 February 2026. Further information will be communicated through subsequent official announcements,” stated Ragunan management.
