Taiwan has relaunched the Global Proposal Campaign ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026’, inviting governments, businesses, and international organisations to develop innovative, technology-based health solutions for a healthier future. The campaign, led by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs’ International Trade Administration (TITA) and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), aims to expand the global reach of Taiwan’s health and fitness industry while strengthening international partnerships.

Titled ‘Designing Healthier Futures Together’, the initiative calls on governments, legal entities, companies, and organisations worldwide to submit innovative proposals combining Taiwan’s strengths in smart healthcare, sports technology, and high-end cycling.

TITA Director-General William Liu stated that ‘Healthy Taiwan’ is a key government policy vision. ‘To continue promoting Taiwan’s image as a healthy, innovative, and dynamic industrial force on the global stage, the Global Proposal Campaign ’Go Healthy with Taiwan’ has been relaunched,’ he said, adding that the updated campaign is expected to serve as a model and multiplier effect, reinforcing Taiwan’s position as a preferred global partner for health solutions.

At the upcoming June Taiwan Expo, the top three winning teams from the 2025 campaign will share their collaboration experiences. TAITRA President and CEO Simon Wang confirmed the campaign will integrate with international trade exhibitions and business matchmaking events. ‘This year’s campaign will be integrated with a series of international trade exhibitions and business opportunities to systematically showcase Taiwan’s innovative strengths in cycling, sports technology, and smart healthcare globally,’ Wang said, adding that the programme will help Taiwanese companies strengthen ties with global buyers, investors, and startups, fostering international orders and long-term partnerships.

The launch event attracted nearly 100 guests, including representatives from the Taiwan Bicycle Association, Taiwan Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and foreign companies and organisations in Taiwan.

The inaugural 2025 edition attracted 638 proposals from 55 countries. This year, organisers aim for over 800 proposals from five continents. A ‘Health AI Hub’ product experience zone highlighted three key sectors: cycling, sports fitness technology, and smart healthcare services.

Taiwanese companies such as Acer Gadget, Tokuyo, Makalot, Newtown, Gee Hoo, Ideas Lab, AKIMIA, and Vast Group showcased innovations in low-carbon mobility, smart sports, precision healthcare, and healthy ageing management. Registration for the Global Proposal Campaign ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026’ is open until 5 August, with the top three teams each receiving $30,000 (approximately Rp530 million) to support projects contributing to global health and wellbeing. Through this initiative, Taiwan seeks to strengthen its international presence in the health and fitness industry while driving global health innovation.
