Tabanan Regency Government Wins Commendable Development Innovation Award at detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026

The Tabanan Regency Government received the Commendable Development award in the category of Accelerating Development Based on Local Wisdom at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026 at The Trans Resort Bali on Friday (3/7/2026). The award was presented by detikcom Editor-in-Chief Ardhi Suryadhi and accepted by Tabanan Assistant I for Governance and People’s Welfare, Anak Agung Ngurah Satria Tenaya, representing Tabanan Regent I Komang Gede Sanjaya. The award recognises the Regent’s programme for his dedication to preserving Tabanan’s natural environment alongside economic development rooted in local wisdom, particularly the subak system and agriculture, which are the regency’s mainstays. Subsidies for seeds, fertiliser, and infrastructure have been provided to support the agricultural sector. Furthermore, rice produced by farmers is absorbed by the regional public company Perumda Sanjayaning Singasana and then redistributed throughout Bali.
