System Confirmed Ready for Maung Jabar School Registration This Monday

The West Java Provincial Government has ensured the readiness of the digital system ahead of the opening of the 2026 Student Admission System (SPMB) for SMA and SMK levels for the ‘Manusia Unggul’ (Maung) schools, which is scheduled to officially open on Monday (25/5).

The Head of the West Java Communications and Informatics Department, Mas Adi Komar, stated that various anticipatory steps have been taken, including a series of technical trials that have been completed with optimal results to guarantee smooth access for the public. Speaking in Bandung on Saturday, Adi confirmed that following the tests, it was concluded that the 2026 Maung School SPMB system is ready for public access.

Regarding the registration mechanism, the entire process for Maung Schools will be conducted online. Prospective participants can access the official Maung School application via the link (https://maung.spmb.jabarprov.go.id) using a registered account. Once logged into the application, applicants are required to select their target school and complete their personal data. The process continues with uploading scanned copies of both general and specific required documents.

Documents to be prepared include birth certificates, family cards, parents’ national ID cards (KTP), report cards, diplomas, as well as certificates of completion of final examinations and academic competency tests from the previous school. Additionally, a recommendation letter from the previous school, a parental absolute responsibility statement (SPTJM), and a statement of readiness to follow the SPMB stages and support Maung Schools are required. For applicants via the academic potential track, results from an academic potential test (TPA) from a psychologist must be included.

In the final stage, applicants are advised not to forget to print their registration proof and click the ‘submit’ button, and to periodically monitor the document verification results. The online registration period will last for five days until Friday (29/5). According to the official schedule, the announcement of successful students admitted to Maung Schools will be released on Monday (8/6), followed by the re-registration process on Tuesday and Wednesday (9 and 10/6).
