Syawal Safari: Jakarta East City Government Strengthens Synergy Between Ulama and Umaro
Through this Syawal Safari, we aim to continue maintaining unity and strengthening the relationship between the government and the ulama as strategic partners in building a harmonious society in East Jakarta,” said East Jakarta Mayor Munjirin at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office on Thursday.
This activity is an annual routine agenda for the East Jakarta City Government apparatus, aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship between ulama and umaro in the East Jakarta area.
The Syawal Safari series began with a visit to the residence of KH Munawir Aseli, located on Jalan Masjid Al Husna, Tanah 80, Klender, Duren Sawit.
In a warm and familial atmosphere, the entourage was welcomed well. The moment was used for mutual forgiveness and to strengthen the bonds of togetherness following Eid al-Fitr.
The entourage then continued the visit to the residence of KH Dimyati Umar on Jalan Batu Ampar V, Batu Ampar Village, Kramat Jati Subdistrict.
This visit is part of the East Jakarta City Government’s commitment to maintaining harmonious communication with religious figures, while also strengthening synergy in building the community.
As the closing of the activity series, the Mayor along with his apparatus visited KH Nuri Tahir, who is undergoing treatment at Harapan Jayakarta Hospital, Cakung Subdistrict.
On that occasion, the entourage also prayed for his recovery and provided moral support to the ulama and his family.
According to Munjirin, the Syawal Safari is not merely an annual tradition, but an important momentum to strengthen synergy between the government and ulama.
Moreover, good collaboration between these two elements is very much needed to create a safe, peaceful, and conducive atmosphere in the midst of society.
“Through this Syawal Safari, we aim to continue maintaining unity and strengthening the relationship between the government and the ulama as strategic partners in building a harmonious society in East Jakarta,” Munjirin explained.
Munjirin hopes that this activity, rich in togetherness, unity, and social concern, can continue to be maintained, especially after the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
With strong synergy between ulama and umaro, social stability in East Jakarta is expected to become even more solid.
