Syariah Card Grows by 9 Namespace%, Bank Mega Syariah Outlines Strategy to Strengthen Lifestyle Segment
PT Bank Mega Syariah has reported positive growth in the usage of its Syariah Card throughout the January-August 2026 period, increasing by 95 per cent compared to the same period the previous year.
“During the same period, the sales volume of the Syariah Card also increased by 74 per cent year-on-year (yoy),” stated the Business Director of Bank Mega Syariah, Rasmoro Pramono Aji (Oney), in a statement on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.
He noted that growth was also recorded in the sales volume of Syariah Card transactions at Metro, which rose by 25 per cent (yoy), while transaction frequency grew by 10 per cent (yoy).
“This achievement demonstrates the expanding utilisation of the Syariah Card to support the transaction needs of the public, including within the lifestyle category,” he said.
Following this positive growth in the category, Bank Mega Syariah is once again expanding its market coverage and strengthening engagement with the public in the lifestyle sector by serving as the Official Bank Partner for Metro Modest Fashion Week (MMFW) 2026.
As the opening city for the MMFW 2026 series from 25 September to 11 October 2026, the Atrium of The Park Solo will be the main highlight of this year’s MMFW, featuring fashion shows and mini talk shows hosted by Bank Mega Syariah.
The fashion show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 3 October 2026, in collaboration with BIA by Zaskia Mecca, Vivi Zubedi, Hikmat, and Intresse.
Oney stated that the collaboration with Metro is one of Bank Mega Syariah’s efforts to bring Sharia financial services closer to the daily lives of the community.
“Through our collaboration with METRO Modest Fashion Week, we are present to provide an easy transaction experience, while simultaneously supporting the national creative industry via local brands and strengthening the Sharia financial ecosystem within the fashion sector,” said Oney.
This year, Metro Modest Fashion Week carries the theme “Bloom in Modesty,” which depicts the development of modest fashion as a space for women to express elegant, modern, and authentic styles. As the opening city, Solo will present a variety of selected modest fashion collections from Metro through fashion shows, mini talk shows, and lifestyle exhibitions.
