Syahmudrian Lubis Officially Appointed as New President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Syahmudrian Lubis has officially become the President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol (PJAA) Tbk through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The agenda of the annual meeting included reporting on the performance for the 2023 fiscal year, dividend distribution, and the appointment and replacement of members of the company’s Board of Directors.
Syahmudrian Lubis stated there are four points to advance the company. First, increasing value per customer, not just the number of visitors.
Second, optimising assets and ecosystems, not just operations. Third, optimising data as a driver of decisions, not just assumptions.
“Fourth is building strategic collaborations that strengthen long-term competitiveness,” he said, accompanied by Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Irfan Setiaputra.
According to him, although the external situation still faces global economic challenges, the company remains focused on innovation and operational efficiency.
In addition, the company is currently at a crucial point, not just to survive, but more than that to step into the next transformation phase.
Syahmudrian added that the tourism and leisure destination industry has fundamentally changed. Visitors no longer just enjoy the destination site, but more than that, how visitors can enjoy a new experience, connections, and value from what they have spent.
“Ancol in the future must shift from merely a visiting destination to a destination that provides experiences, building an integrated ecosystem,” he explained.
