Switzerland Ready to Host US-Russia-Ukraine Trilateral Talks
Moscow (ANTARA) – The Swiss government remains in contact with all parties involved in resolving the Ukraine conflict and is willing to host trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
The Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs told RIA Novosti this in response to the possibility of the trilateral talks resuming.
“Switzerland supports every diplomatic initiative aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs remains in contact with all parties and consistently offers its services as a mediator,” it said.
Earlier, during a meeting with US special envoy Steve Witkoff, Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Moscow’s readiness to resume trilateral talks on Ukraine.
According to Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov, the talks could take place in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, around mid-November.
