Swiss banks open offices

JAKARTA (JP): Swiss Bank Corporation and SBC Warburg, SBC's global investment bank, have opened offices in Wisma GKBI here.

Rodney Ward, the chairman of SBC Warburg for Asia and Pacific, said in a statement yesterday that the opening of the two offices is expected to strengthen the two banks' presence in Indonesia.

Renee Zecha has been appointed as the president of PT SBC Warburg and Rudolf H. Flury as SBC's senior representative.

SBC Warburg, which provides analysts with forecasts and recommendations as well as sector and market commentaries, has also appointed Rick Loo as the head of its research department. (hen)
