SWF INA Manages Rp126 Trillion in Assets, Realised Investments Reach Rp74.5 Trillion
Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), the sovereign wealth fund established in 2020, has reported total assets under management (AUM) of Rp126 trillion as it enters its fifth year of operations. Of that amount, realised investments have reached Rp74.5 trillion. CEO Oki Ramadhana said that over the past five years, the institution has not only focused on institutional development but also on expanding investment capacity and creating added value for the national economy. He noted that INA’s investment strategy is no longer solely oriented towards capital placement, but is also directed at enhancing the quality of growth through diversification of asset classes and investment sectors. “As an investor, we cannot only invest in one asset class or one sector. The portfolio must be diversified to create value while generating optimal returns,” Oki said on Wednesday (1/7/2026). He explained that the total AUM of Rp126 trillion originated from initial government capital that has grown through various investments and partnerships with global investors. Meanwhile, realised investments placed to date amount to approximately Rp74.5 trillion. In line with this development, INA is also expanding its investment strategy into various asset classes, including private equity, hybrid capital, and other financing solutions to maintain a balance between risk and long-term investment returns. On the sectoral front, INA continues to prioritise investments in transportation, logistics, green energy, infrastructure, and healthcare. Moving into 2025, the investment focus is being broadened to include advanced materials and manufacturing as part of the national downstreaming and industrialisation agenda. Oki assessed that this strategy is intended to ensure that INA’s investments not only deliver commercial returns but also foster long-term economic growth and support the transformation of Indonesia’s economic structure.
