Sweeping Up 3 PFI 2026 Awards, Dompet Dhuafa Reaffirms Commitment to the National Philanthropy Ecosystem
Dompet Dhuafa (DD) has once again demonstrated its commitment as one of Indonesia’s leading philanthropy institutions and drivers of goodness. At the prestigious General Members’ Meeting (RUA) 2026 organised by the Indonesian Philanthropy Association (PFI), Dompet Dhuafa successfully brought home three awards. Deputy Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Board, Herdiansah, expressed appreciation to PFI for the three awards and to all parties involved in efforts to spread goodness alongside Dompet Dhuafa. “We also dedicate these awards to our brothers and sisters who are currently in disaster-affected areas and throughout the programme regions who have strived to provide good things for Indonesia,” he stated in a written release received by Kompas.com on Saturday (2/5/2026). He made this statement after receiving one of the 2026 RUA awards at the Auditorium Puri Dani, IPMI International Business School, South Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026). The awards also serve as a moment of appreciation for Dompet Dhuafa’s dedication throughout 2025-2026. Dompet Dhuafa’s Deputy Corporate Secretary, Dian Mulyadi, said that this achievement will fuel efforts to expand the reach of benefits. On the other hand, PFI gave special recognition to two flagship Dompet Dhuafa programmes that were deemed highly successful in strengthening cross-institutional synergy in the Members Collaboration category. First, the Philanthropy Symposium for Climate Action. This initiative was assessed as capable of accelerating the green transition implemented together with Climateworks Centre - Monash University and Belantara Foundation. Second, the Ramadan Gathering. This innovative collaboration with Lindungi Hutan integrates the spirit of sharing with environmental preservation.
