Sweden offers pulp knowhow

JAKARTA (JP): A industrial delegation from Sweden has been
offering clean systems in the operation of pulp and paper mill as
well as tailor made process chemicals and a very solid knowhow
about the design and operation of such systems.

The Swedish industrial delegation to Indonesia led by Swedish
Minister of Industry and Commerce Sten Heckscher presented the
systems here yesterday in a one-day seminar on forest and power
industry.

Minister Tunky Ariwibowo said in his opening remarks at the
seminar that Indonesia has been developing forest-based industry
such as pulp and paper industry which has good international
market now.

He said that Indonesia could benefit from the transfer of
technology and knowhow from Sweden which has had long experiences
in pulp and paper technology. (32)
