SWA Media Group Awards Companies Building Outstanding Customer Value

Jakarta — SWA Media Group, together with Business Digest, has again presented two awards to Indonesian companies under the theme “Conference and Awarding: Driving Outstanding Business Performance and Brand Excellence through HSE Leadership and Well-Being Management.” The prestigious event was held at Ballroom A, Hotel Shangri-La, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 11 March.

The two awards are respectively titled “Indonesia Brand Excellence in Customer Value 2026,” recognising companies or brands capable of delivering comprehensive value to their customers encompassing functional, economic, and emotional value. The second award, “Indonesia Best Employee Well-Being 2025,” is presented to companies that have successfully built welfare programmes for their employees.

The ceremony opened with an opening speech by Kemal E. Gani, Chairman of SWA Media Group. In his remarks, he emphasised that companies capable of surviving and excelling in an era of fierce competition are those that prioritise employee well-being as an important agenda, which ultimately influences the quality of customer value that a brand delivers.

“Employee well-being has a very strong correlation with business performance, so when employee productivity increases, customer loyalty increases and importantly, business profitability also increases,” Kemal explained in his address.

Kemal also outlined how companies must build three dimensions of customer value and maintain their balance: functional value, economic value, and emotional value.

Lise Tiasanty, Head of Customer Satisfaction Division of PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia, shared Sharp’s experience of creating and delivering customer value over 56 years of operation in Indonesia.

“Technology changes rapidly and this also changes customer needs, whether in terms of products, behaviour, or shopping methods, and the values customers seek, so we too must quickly accommodate all of that,” Lise explained.

“By accommodating the value expected by customers, it has proven that the Sharp brand remains a choice even though there are many other cheaper options available outside, but customers already know they will get more value that doesn’t exist in other brands,” she continued.

This success in creating and maintaining customer value brought Sharp to become one of the award winners.

The award recipients for Indonesia Best Employee Well-Being 2025 include PT AXA Mandiri Financial Services, Yayasan Rumah Zakat Indonesia, PT Tangkas Cipta Optimal (TACO Group), PT Chubb Life Insurance Indonesia, PT Nutrifood Indonesia, PT Elnusa Tbk, PT Centrepark Citra Corpora, PT Finnet Indonesia, PT Elnusa Petrofin, and PT Mandiri Utama Finance.

The award recipients for Indonesia Brand Excellence in Customer Value 2026 include Bank Mandiri, Livin’ by Mandiri, Mandiri e-Money, Mandiri Credit Card, Mandiri Call, Zurich Autocillin, Aspira, Sharp, Solaria, PT Mustika Ratu Tbk, HM Sampoerna (Sampoerna A, Sampoerna Hijau, Dji Sam Soe, and Sampoerna A Mild), Good Day, Kopi ABC, Kapal Api, Zurich Travel Insurance, AXA Insurance Indonesia, and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.
