Suzuki Delivers e-Vitara to Customers, Total of Eight Units
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has begun distributing its first electric car, the e-Vitara, to consumers in Indonesia. These deliveries have been carried out gradually since last month.
Deputy to the 4W Sales & Marketing Director of SIS, Dony Ismi Saputra, stated that the number of units delivered up to March 2026 remains limited.
“Actually, we started deliveries from last month, and up to March, we have already delivered, both wholesale and retail, a total of eight units of the e-Vitara,” said Dony, when met at JIExpo Kemayoran on Wednesday (8/4/2026).
“As we conveyed during the launch of the Vitara, we are not only offering the product but also the historical value of Suzuki itself as one of the experts in SUV manufacturing,” he added.
According to Dony, the e-Vitara is designed as an electric SUV that continues to embody Suzuki’s main characteristics in that segment.
“So we are offering that the e-Vitara is Suzuki’s first electric car, and by coincidence, our concept is an SUV, which is one of our core competencies,” he stated.
He added that the market response to the e-Vitara has been quite positive, especially from Suzuki’s loyal consumers.
To support the use of this electric vehicle, Suzuki has also prepared supporting infrastructure, both for consumers and dealer networks in major cities.
“So we have prepared what you might call special schemes, not only for customers but also at some selected outlets in major cities in Indonesia,” said Dony.
