Sutrimo's Family Questions Chronology Form, Missing Phone and Wallet

The legal representative of Sutrimo’s family revealed that initially they had no suspicions when receiving Sutrimo’s body. Later, the family began to question a number of irregularities, ranging from hospital documents, the condition of the body, to the matter of Sutrimo’s mobile phone and personal belongings that had not been returned.

The man from Wlahar Village, Wangon District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, was previously found dead with foam at the mouth in front of the Mordent beauty clinic in South Jakarta on Thursday (23/7). The family received the body already shrouded, so they did not see anything suspicious.

“At first, when they received the body, it was already shrouded, already clean, and there was nothing suspicious,” said the family’s legal representative, Aan Rohaeni, as reported by detikJateng on Monday (10/8/2026).

In addition, the family knew that Sutrimo had a history of diabetes. They received information that Sutrimo’s blood sugar level was said to have reached 600. As a result, the family at that time accepted Sutrimo’s death as something natural. Moreover, the body was immediately repatriated and buried on the same day.

“They arrived at 10 (pm) and he was buried straight away. There was no suspicion at all initially,” he said.

According to Aan, this was also influenced by the family’s belief in wanting to bury the body immediately. At that time, the family also received information that Sutrimo’s mobile phone and personal belongings would be sent the following day.

However, a few days after the burial, news reports emerged about Sutrimo’s death. This made the family begin to question what had actually happened.

“A few days later there was news and so on. The family, on one hand, felt, what is going on here,” said Aan.

Aan said the family was also in a dilemma. On one hand, they began to sense irregularities, but on the other hand, they were afraid of dealing with a major case.

“Because this involves a major figure and a major case in Indonesia. They realised that if a report were made, the family would certainly be troubled. They were afraid,” he said.

Phone and Wallet Never Returned

The family’s suspicions grew after a number of Sutrimo’s personal belongings were not returned.

“After we looked later, the phone never came back. The wallet never came back and so on. So their suspicions also increased,” said Aan.

Sutrimo’s family also questioned the person who delivered the body. According to Aan, that person’s phone number could previously be contacted, but later became inactive.

Aan said Sutrimo’s family had limitations. They did not have the financial capacity to face a long process if the case were reported.

“They felt, ‘who am I’. Who would guarantee if there were a problem? Just going back and forth would certainly cost money. Meanwhile, they struggle just to live. The emotional condition of the family, especially Sutrimo’s mother, was also one of the considerations,” he said.

Shocked to Find Chronology Form

Another issue arose after Aan obtained a document said to be related to the chronology of Sutrimo’s condition before his death. Aan admitted he was shocked after receiving information that the document mentioned foam coming out of Sutrimo’s mouth and nose.

“I was shocked, there was nothing. We had no letter from the hospital stating that. We all thought that this was because it was incomplete. In fact, there was nothing at all,” he said.

According to Aan, the chronology form was never given to Sutrimo’s family when the body was repatriated.

“The document was never given to the family. So the person who delivered the body deliberately, the person who sent the body, hid that one chronological form,” said Aan.

Aan then compared the document he obtained with the document held by Sutrimo’s family. He said there were identical signatures in the form.

“We compared the signature in the form, Febrio (Adiono) is identical to the one we have,” he revealed.

From these findings, the family now believes there are grounds to question the process of repatriating Sutrimo’s body, including why the chronological form was not handed over to the family.
