Sutrimo Exhumation Results to Be Announced in About Two Weeks

Jakarta Metropolitan Police are still waiting for the Forensic Laboratory results related to the exhumation of Sutrimo, who was found dead in front of the Mordent beauty clinic in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. External and internal examinations will also be carried out.

“We are waiting for the forensic laboratory results regarding the exhumation. Exhumation means opening the grave. The external examination has already been presented by Professor Ahmad Yudianto, and the third is the internal examination,” said Jakarta Metropolitan Police Head of Public Relations Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

In addition, DNA and tissue examinations will be conducted on the body. The results will take up to two weeks from the time the body was exhumed.

“The internal examination includes DNA, tissue, and substances found, and we are still waiting for results within one to two weeks. That will be presented by the experts,” he explained.

The case is currently still under police investigation. Budi said 27 witnesses have been examined in connection with the case.

“This has entered the investigation stage. The update is that 27 witnesses have been examined,” he said.

Sutrimo was found unconscious on Thursday (23/7). The victim was then taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital and was pronounced dead.

Jakarta Metropolitan Police, together with a team of forensic doctors, then carried out the exhumation of Sutrimo’s body in Wlahar Village, Wangon District, Banyumas Regency, on Wednesday (12/8). The exhumation process lasted approximately 3.5 hours, from 09.30 to 13.00 WIB.
