Sutrimo Death Case: Police Find No Poison at South Jakarta Clinic

Police have stated that no poison was found at the Mordent Clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, during a crime scene investigation related to the death of a man named Sutrimo. “No, no (poison was found),” said Ipda Robby Pasha, head of the South Jakarta Police Resmob Unit, to reporters on Monday (27/7).

During the crime scene investigation, police removed a number of items from the clinic. Following the process, an officer was seen carrying three brown paper packages believed to be evidence. Police also placed a police line on the fence and entrance door of the beauty clinic.

Robby stated that the evidence would be taken to the Forensic Laboratory Centre (Puslabfor) for examination. However, he did not disclose the specific items secured from the location.

A man named Sutrimo died on Thursday (23/7). He was found unconscious in the yard of the Mordent Clinic and was taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital. “The hospital explained that Sutrimo arrived already deceased,” said Polda Metro Jaya Head of Public Relations, Kombes Budi Hermanto, in a written statement on Sunday (26/7).

Budi said investigators are currently gathering information and clarifying details with the family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and other parties with knowledge of the incident. Medical records, ambulance booking history, the initial location where the deceased was found, and other related information are also being investigated. The victim was reportedly the head of household for Febrie Adriansyah, a former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office.
