Suspended Febrie Adriansyah Still Receives Half Salary

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has stated that former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, still receives 50 per cent of his base salary.

Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, said this is because the individual concerned has not been fully dismissed as a prosecutor and civil servant (ASN).

He explained that Febrie’s dismissal must currently wait until the money laundering (TPPU) case against him has permanent legal force or is declared inkracht.

Nevertheless, Anang said Febrie no longer receives all the allowances and facilities previously provided.

“He does not get allowances. So he does not get allowances,” he told reporters, as quoted on Thursday (6/8).

“He only receives half his salary, 50 per cent of his base salary,” he added.

Previously, Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin had temporarily suspended the prosecutor status of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah.

Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, said the temporary suspension was carried out until there is a legally binding decision in the alleged money laundering (TPPU) case against Febrie.

“It is true that FA [Febrie] has now been temporarily suspended while awaiting a legally binding decision or inkracht,” he told reporters on Tuesday (3/8).

Anang explained that the Attorney General has not yet proposed a full dismissal of Febrie to the President because he must still wait for the case to be proven and attain inkracht status.

He said the temporary suspension status was submitted after a report from Team 9 regarding Febrie’s suspect status. Anang added that the temporary suspension has been in effect since 31 July.

“The Attorney General is the one who suspends him. The mechanism is based on a report from Team 9 that the person concerned is a suspect. (Temporarily suspended) as of 31 July 2026,” he said.
