Suspected RPTKA Funds Flow to Former Officials and Retirees
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed allegations of fund flows in the processing of the Plan for the Use of Foreign Workers (RPTKA) at the Ministry of Manpower.
KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the funds were not only received by parties still in office but are also suspected to have flowed to those no longer in the structure, including retirees.
“In the case construction of this RPTKA matter, there are parties who are no longer in the management structure but are still suspected of receiving fund flows,” said Budi at the KPK Building in Jakarta on Thursday (9/4/2026).
Even parties who have completed their duties or retired are suspected of still receiving funds related to RPTKA processing.
“Parties who have completed their duties or retired are even suspected of still receiving fund flows related to RPTKA processing,” he said.
The KPK views this case as an important lesson in future corruption prevention efforts, particularly in improving public service governance at the Ministry of Manpower.
“We certainly do not want similar corruption crimes to recur in the future. Therefore, it is important to carry out system improvements and corruption risk mitigation,” said Budi.
To strengthen the case construction, KPK investigators also examined several witnesses in Malang, East Java, on Thursday (9/4/2026).
The examination was conducted to trace assets suspected to be related to former Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Hery Sudarmanto (HS).
The KPK stated that the detention of parties designated as suspects would be adjusted to the needs of the investigation.
“Detention depends on the investigators’ needs in the investigation process of this case. If it is indeed necessary, it will certainly be carried out immediately,” said Budi.
