Suspected killers arrested

JAKARTA (JP): The Tanjung Priok police district has arrested three senior high school students on suspicion that they stabbed to death a company manager at a drug store last week in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Chief of the North Jakarta police district Lt. Col. Abubakar N. said that the three suspects were apprehended at their homes in North Jakarta.

The victim, Simon, was about to buy medicines on Thursday when he was accosted by the three students who asked for money, Abubakar said.

"When the victim refused the demand he was beaten and stabbed," he added. (01)
