The latest development has emerged in the alleged false imprisonment and abuse case against YTR (29) that has shocked the public in West Java. The suspect, identified by the initials TH, who was previously on the Wanted Persons List (DPO), has reportedly been secured by officers in the Majalengka area, West Java. Information regarding the arrest was corroborated by a circulating photo showing the process of securing a man inside a vehicle at night. In the photo, a man is seen sitting in the middle of the vehicle under the escort of officers. The man appeared to be wearing dark clothing. Based on circulating information, he was wearing a black cap, a black shirt, and a black jacket when secured. His hair looked neatly combed and slick. Meanwhile, an officer was seen in the front of the vehicle assisting with the security process. West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan confirmed that the suspect had been secured by officers. ‘Already in Majalaya,’ said Rudi Setiawan on Tuesday. After being secured, the suspect is reportedly being taken to the West Java Regional Police headquarters to undergo further examination regarding the alleged false imprisonment and abuse suffered by the victim. The arrest marks a significant development after police conducted an intensive manhunt over recent days for the suspect, who was previously a fugitive. The case has drawn widespread public attention after allegations emerged that the victim suffered years of false imprisonment and torture. The West Java Police Chief previously revealed that medical and forensic examinations found a number of serious injuries on the victim’s body. According to Rudi, forensic doctors have identified several damaged and non-functioning organs. ‘Forensic doctors have been able to identify the damaged organs that are not functioning. Among them are the eyes, then the lips, there are slash marks on the legs from a sharp object, then cigarette burns and so on,’ said Rudi. These findings serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation. Testimony from residents and the boarding house manager also strengthens the suspicion of false imprisonment experienced by the victim. Mulyati, the wife of the boarding house guard, said that during his stay at the location, the victim was almost never seen doing activities outside his room.
