Suspect named in Bogor toll road murder and body dumping case

‘The suspect has been apprehended and formally named, with evidence secured,’ said Kompol Bagus Azi Lesmana Putra, Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit for Bogor City Police, on Sunday (24 May 2026).

The suspect was arrested following a crash during a police chase on the toll road several hours after the victim was discovered lying on Saturday (23 May). He is alleged to have thrown the victim from the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) toll road onto Sholis Street.

‘Yes, the victim was thrown from the toll road down to Sholis Street. That’s all for now; full details will be provided in tomorrow’s press release,’ Azi told detikcom.

Previously reported, a woman identified as AA, 25, was murdered, her body found on Jalan Raya Sholeh Iskandar (Sholis) in Tanah Sareal, Bogor City, West Java. CCTV footage circulating on social media showed her being discarded by the suspect from the BORR toll road, falling onto Sholis Street.

Bogor City Police Chief Rio Wahyu Anggoro confirmed the CCTV footage, stating the incident was part of the same sequence as the viral arrest footage on the toll road.

‘Yes, the CCTV footage showing the victim being thrown from BORR is part of the same incident as the arrest footage that went viral,’ Rio Wahyu Anggoro said when asked for confirmation on Sunday (24 May 2026).
