Suspect Named Following Sting Operation at ATR/BPN Ministry, KPK to Announce Soon
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that it has named suspects following a sting operation (OTT) within the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo explained that the anti-corruption body had named suspects after conducting a case review.
“The KPK has carried out a case review at the leadership level, and it has been decided that this case will proceed to the investigation stage,” Budi told journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday (15/9).
Nevertheless, Budi could not yet disclose further details regarding the identity of the suspect named by the KPK. Previously, on 14 September 2026, the KPK confirmed it had conducted its 20th sting operation of the year. The operation was linked to alleged corruption in the processing of building-use rights (HGB) for Summarecon in Bogor Regency, West Java.
In that operation, the KPK arrested 17 people, among them the Director-General of Land and Spatial Control at the ATR/BPN Ministry, Lampri; the Head of the Bogor Regency Land Office, Sontang Coin Manurung; and the Head of the Tangerang City Land Office, Tardi. Also arrested were Golkar Party deputy chairperson Fahd Arafiq, former Kebumen Regent Arif Sugiyanto, and the President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Adrianto Pitojo Adhi.
From the operation, the KPK seized cash evidence in rupiah and foreign currencies estimated to reach hundreds of billions of rupiah. The money was wrapped or packed in boxes, cardboard containers, and suitcases, numbering around 20 items.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Ossy Dermawan responded to the KPK sting operation at the Bogor Regency Land Office related to the alleged HGB bribery, stating that his side fully supports law enforcement.
The public has been urged not to rush to conclusions based solely on information circulating on social media or unverified public conversations.
