Susmiati Enjoys Services at Kotamobagu General Hospital After Becoming a JKN Participant
Manado (ANTARA) - Susmiati (50), a participant in the Premium Assistance Recipients (PBI) programme of BPJS Kesehatan, shared her positive experience in receiving healthcare services at Kotamobagu General Hospital, North Sulawesi province. “I have several histories of chronic illnesses, including diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and gout. In addition, I often experience recurrent complaints of pain in the upper abdomen,” said Susmiati in Kotamobagu on Sunday. The pain even radiates to the chest and back areas, accompanied by a sensation of heat in the body and tingling in the legs. This condition certainly disrupts her daily activities. Nevertheless, Susmiati admitted that she often endures the pain she feels for several days before deciding to seek medical help. “Usually, I endure the pain for about four days to a week at home. After that, I only request a referral at the community health centre,” she said. After obtaining a referral from the Primary Healthcare Facility (FKTP), Susmiati then continued her treatment at Kotamobagu General Hospital. She recounted that from the moment she arrived at the hospital, she immediately received quick and appropriate handling from the medical personnel. “As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I was immediately examined. Then an infusion was set up, blood was taken, and shortly after that, I was admitted to the treatment room,” she explained. During her treatment, Susmiati felt comfort from the available facilities at the hospital. She also rated the services provided by the healthcare personnel, both doctors and nurses, as very satisfactory. The quick response and attention given made her feel more at ease during her treatment period. “The facilities are comfortable, the care is also good. The administration of medication runs smoothly, and the doctors and nurses are very responsive. I feel very well attended to,” she stated.
